Poland’s zloty slid the most in 15 months against the euro this week as investors ditched riskier assets worldwide amid concern the global economic recovery is faltering and as Europe’s debt crisis deepened.
The zloty has lost 2.7 percent this week, set for its biggest five-day slump since May 2010. It strengthened 0.4 percent to 4.1486 at 10:42 a.m. in Warsaw. Against the Swiss franc, the Polish currency gained for a second day, adding 2.6 percent to 3.7639 and paring this week’s loss to 2.1 percent.
