OG:World Oil Prices Rise On Declining U.S. Inventory
The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was growing Wednesday morning as crude stock reserves in the U.S. declined.
The price of a September futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was up 13 cents to $86.78 a barrel by 7:30 Moscow time. The price of a September futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was up 10 cents to $109.23 in London.
The day before, September WTI contracts fell $1.23 to $86.65 a barrel, while September Brent contracts were down 44 cents to $109.13.
