NI: Rupee rises by two paise to 45.28 against US dollar
The rupee moved up by two paise at 45.28 against the dollar in the opening trade today on selling of dollars by exporters, dealers at the Interbank Foreign Exchange said.
A minor oscillation was seen in the local unit as it recorded an intra- day high and low at 45.30 and 45.26 per US dollar, respectively.
The rupee advanced because of weak dollar against other world currencies and positive opening in share market too boosted the same, dealers said.
