MSN:Crude palm oil marginally down in futures trade
New Delhi, Aug 17 (PTI) Crude palm oil prices traded marginally lower by 0.02 per cent to Rs 481.60 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced their positions on sluggish spot market demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in September traded marginally lower by 10 paise, or 0.02 per cent, to Rs 481.60 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of 66 lots.
However, the oil for delivery in August held steady at Rs 485.70 per 10 kg, with an open interest of two lots.
Market analysts said as speculators reduced their positions due to a weak spot market trend on sluggish demand, mainly pulled down prices.
