(RTTNews) - Extending late Asian session's uptrend, the New Zealand dollar advanced to a 4-day high of 63.51 against the Japanese yen around 7:15 am ET Monday. On the upside, the kiwi-yen pair may find target around the 63.60 level in near-term, the 10-day simple moving average level. The pair finished Friday's deals at 62.62.
The New Zealand currency also touched 0.8268 against the US dollar and 1.2664 against the Australian dollar around 7:20 am ET, up from Asian session's fresh multi-day lows of 0.8165 against the former and new multi-week lows of 1.2744 versus the latter. On the upside, the kiwi may find target around the 0.8320 against the buck and 1.26 versus the aussie.
The NZ dollar also reached as high as 1.7462 against the euro before holding steady around 7:15 am ET. On the upside, the kiwi may test resistance around the 1.7435 level. The euro-kiwi pair closed last week's deals at 1.7590.
