WSJ:Three-Month Dollar Libor Unchanged; Libor/OIS Spread Widens
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars for three-months in the London interbank market continued to rise Thursday.
The cost of borrowing sterling and euros for three-months was unchanged from Wednesday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, also known as Libor, rose to 0.31900% from 0.31428% Wednesday.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, rose to 23.5 basis points from 22.93 basis points Wednesday.
The euro and sterling rates remained unchanged at 1.48000% and 0.87969% respectively.
