SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures traded lower Friday, getting their cues from stumbling European markets and expectations of a down day on Wall Street. Traders also awaited for Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's speech at a gathering of central bankers in Jackson Hole, Wyo. Bernanke's talk will be carefully parsed out for any hints of further stimilus to prop the U.S. economy and, by extension, support oil demand. Crude for October delivery CL1V -1.37% declined $1.19, or 1.4%, to $84.12 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
