NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks extended Friday losses as Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke spoke about the economy, saying the central bank has an array of tools if needed. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA -1.77% fell 208 points to 10,941.61. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index SPX -1.71% declined 22.39 points to 1,136.88. The Nasdaq Composite Index COMP -1.17% lost 33.06 points to 2,386.57.
