KUWAIT, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Price of the Kuwaiti crude oil rose USD 2.73 to USD 109.39 per barrel (pb) on Wednesday, compared to USD 106.66 pb on Monday, the state-run Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Thursday.
Meanwhile, prices of oil on the international markets have tended to be bullish, buoyed by restoration of confidence in the financial markets after the United States declared phased recovery of its economy.
Such positive declarations about the US economy, coupled with elating reports about consumption in July, led to drop of the rate of the US dollar vis a vis the major currencies, and this in turn reflected on the prices of the crude. (end) mjb.bsa.rk KUNA 011248 Sep 11NNNN
