The official value of the shekel declined an average of .087 percent in mixed trading on Friday against the other currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.584, up .28 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro slipped .131 percent to 5.0986 shekels.
The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.803, up .171 percent, while the Swiss frank jumped 2.11 percent to 4.5581 shekels.
