NI:Rupee weakens by 12 paise at 46.11 against US dollar
The rupee today weakened by 12 paise in the opening trade at 46.11 against the US dollar due to demand for the greenback and sliding equity market, dealers at the Interbank Foreign Exchange said.
Depreciating by 19 paise in the previous session, the domestic unit fell further by 12 paise in the opening trade today.
The rupee fluctuated between the day's high and low of 46.09 and 46.15 per US dollar, respectively.
