RTTN:Canadian Dollar Strengthens Against Most Majors
(RTTNews) - The Canadian dollar traded higher against most major currencies in the early European session on Thursday.
The loonie rose to 0.9836 against the greenback and a fresh 5-week high of 1.3838 against the euro, and the next upside target level for the loonie is seen at 0.98 and 1.37, respectively. At yesterday's close, the loonie traded at 0.9834 against the greenback and 1.3865 against the euro.
The loonie that reached a 6-day high of 78.66 against the yen at 3:05 am ET slightly erased gains thereafter. But the loonie bounced back and is now trading at 78.63 against the yen. If the loonie rises further, it may target 78.8 level.
