RTRS:S.Africa's rand falls to 2-week low vs dollar
JOHANNESBURG, Sept 9 (Reuters) - South Africa's rand weakened against the dollar on Friday, hitting two-week lows as the greenback gained across the board.
The rand was trading at 7.2535 to the dollar at 0900 GMT, more than one percent weaker than Thursday's close of 7.1795. It hit a session low of 7.2575, its weakest since August 25, according to Reuters data.
Bonds also extended losses, with yields climbing across the curve. The yield on the 2015 bond was up 13 basis points to 6.46 and that on the 2026 issue climbed by 10.5 basis points to 7.885 percent. (Reporting by Phumza Macanda; Editing by Jon Herskovitz)
