ET:Australian dollar falls to 1 month low vs U.S. dollar
LONDON: The Australian dollar fell to a one-month low against the U.S. dollar on Monday as increased worries about the euro zone debt crisis knocked equities and higher-yielding currencies lower, while the U.S. dollar gained broadly.
The Aussie fell 1.6 percent to US$1.0292, falling below the $1.03 mark for the first time since Aug. 12 as European equities traded down more than 2 percent in early trade.
