ET:Australian dollar falls to 1 month low versus US dollar
LONDON: The Australian dollar fell to a one-month low against the US dollar on Monday as increased worries about the euro zone debt crisis knocked equities and higher-yielding currencies lower, while the US dollar gained broadly.
The Aussie fell 1.6 per cent to US$1.0292, falling below the $1.03 mark for the first time since Aug. 12 as European equities traded down more than 2 per cent in early trade.
