LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, euros, and sterling for three months in the London interbank market all rose Thursday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, also known as Libor, rose to 0.35022% from 0.34911%.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and the three-month overnight index rate--a barometer of banks' willingness to lend--widened to 28.1 basis points from 27.0 basis points.
Credit Agricole and Credit Suisse contributed the highest rates of 0.42000% and 0.41500%, respectively.
The euro rate rose to 1.47938% from 1.47875%, while the three-month sterling rate rose to 0.91781% from 0.91500%.
