WSJ:PRECIOUS METALS: Gold Slips In Asia As Dollar Gains On Italy, Greece Worries
WELLINGTON (Dow Jones)--Gold prices were range-bound in Asian trading as traders remained unsure about the metal's near-term outlook after Standard & Poor's cut Italy's sovereign-debt ratings by one notch.
The yellow metal had slipped 1.9% in the spot market Monday as investors sold gold to raise cash to meet margin calls in other markets. Traders expect range trading to continue in the near-term.
