BLBG:European Benchmark Coal for Next Year Rises as Crude Prices Gain
Benchmark European coal rose as crude oil prices increased.
Thermal coal for delivery to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp with settlement next year increased 40 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $126.60 a metric ton at 11:51 a.m. in London, according to broker data compiled by Bloomberg.
Oil for October rose 1 percent to $86.53 a barrel in New York. Coal tracks oil and stock prices.
