LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, euros and sterling for three months in the London interbank market rose Wednesday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, also known as Libor, rose to 0.35556% from 0.35500%.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and the three-month overnight index rate--a barometer of banks' willingness to lend--narrowed to 28.8 basis points from 29.0 basis points.
Credit Agricole SA and Credit Suisse Group contributed the highest rates of 0.42500% and 0.41500%, respectively.
The euro rate rose to 1.48688% from 1.48563%, while the three-month sterling rate rose to 0.92844% from 0.92469%.
