BLBG:Oil Erases Gain in New York as Finance Heads Discuss Economic Growth Risk
Oil erased earlier gains to trade little changed in New York. Crude for November delivery was at $80.61 a barrel, up 10 cents, in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange at 1:11 p.m. Singapore time. The contract had climbed as much as 1.6 percent, after dropping 6.3 percent yesterday.
Brent oil for November settlement gained 51 cents, or 0.5 percent, to $106 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange.
Finance chiefs from the Group of 20 meeting in Washington said they would address “heightened downside risks” from sovereign debt and slowing global economic growth.
