RTRS:Uganda shilling falls past 2,900 to the dollar
KAMPALA, Sept 23 (Reuters) - The Ugandan shilling fell past 2,900 to the dollar for the first time on Friday, extending losses this week on the back of general emerging market currency weakness triggered by euro debt woes.
The shilling exchanged at 2,901 in early trade, down from Thursday's low of 2,880, according to Thomson Reuters data. (Editing by David Clarke)
