RTTN:Canadian Dollar Trades At 5-day High Against Greenback And Yen
(RTTNews) - After moving broadly sideways in latter part of the Asian and early European sessions, the Canadian dollar edged sharply higher against the currencies of the U.S. and Japan ahead of Tuesday's North American trading.
The loonie reached 5-day highs of 1.0207 against the greenback and 74.94 against the yen around 7:30 am ET. The loonie-yen pair thus broke past the 5-day simple moving average level and the next upside barrier could be at its 10-day SMA of 76.20. The Canadian dollar's next upside target against the greenback is likely to come in at 1.0050
