FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The yellow metal has been contained at $1,618 (latest daily low), during the Asian session, climbing at the beginning of the European session till $1,655 (fresh daily high), price zone where is quoting at the time of writing.

On a short term technical perspective and according to Mohammed Isah, analyst at FXTechStrategy, on an upside view, these are considered the crucial resistance levels: a first one is located at $1,702 and, after this, the $1,754 price zone, followed by the $1,827 level.

On the downside, the support levels to watch: a first one at the $1,532 area,followed by $1,500 figure and, after this, the $1,478 round price.
