CO:MCX pepper up on low production and rising export demand
NEW DELHI (Commodity Online): MCX pepper trades up in all contracts on low global production and rising export as well as domestic demand.
The demand from North India has remained firm on account of coming Festive season.
According to the Religare report ,The traders expect that with low stocks, lower global production and rising export demand, trend is likely to remain bullish for the commodity from a medium to long term point of view. Also the Strengthening in the Dollar v/s Re rates could have beneficial impact on the export front.
In the MCX market, for the October contract, the pepper trades 0.70% up to 35375 as on Monday 3rd October.
