OG:World Oil Prices Rise As U.S. Stock Reserves Decline
The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was growing Wednesday morning as U.S. stock crude inventory declined in the United States.
The price of a November futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was up $2.18 to $77.85 a barrel by 8:20 Moscow time. The price of a November futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was up $1.76 to $101.55 in London.
The day before, November WTI contracts dropped $1.94 to $75.67 a barrel, while November Brent contracts were off $1.92 to $99.79.
