WSJ:Key US Dollar, Sterling and Euro Libor All Rise
LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, sterling, and euros for three months in the London interbank market all rose Friday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, rising to 0.40472% from 0.40306%.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and the three-month overnight index swap rate--a barometer of banks' willingness to lend--widened to 32.2 basis points from 32.0 basis points Thursday.
The euro rate rose to 1.50500% from 1.50438% from Thursday, while the three-month sterling rate rose to 0.96500% from 0.96375%.
