The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was growing Monday morning as investors bet on a positive outcome from measures to be taken to resolve the debt crisis in Europe.
The price of a November futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was up 20 cents to $87.00 a barrel by 8:50 Moscow time. The price of a November futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was up 1 cent to $112.20 in London.
