LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, euros and sterling for three months in the London interbank market rose Wednesday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, or Libor, rising to 0.41167% from 0.40917%.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and the three-month overnight index swap rate--a barometer of banks' willingness to lend--widened to 33.0 basis points from 32.7 basis points Tuesday.
The euro rate rose to 1.51250% from 1.50750% while the three-month sterling rate rose to 0.96975% from 0.96825%.
