LONDON (Dow Jones)--The cost of borrowing dollars, euros and sterling for three months in the London interbank market all rose Friday.
Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, rising to 0.42944% from 0.42806%.
The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and the three-month overnight index swap rate--a barometer of banks' willingness to lend--narrowed to 34.3 basis points from 34.6 basis points Thursday.
The euro rate rose to 1.52688% from 1.52375% while the three-month sterling rate rose to 0.98669% from 0.98544%.
