MSN:Crude palm oil futures recover on higher global cues
New Delhi, Nov 1 (PTI) Tracking a firming trend overseas, crude palm oil futures prices traded higher by 0.15 per cent to Rs 476.50 per 10 kg today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in December rose up by 70 paise, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 476.50 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of 105 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in November edged up by 60 paise, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 476 per 10 kg, with a trade volume of 58 lots.
Market analysts said fresh buying by traders to meet the wedding demand amid a firming global trend helped crude palm oil prices to trade higher at futures trade.
Meanwhile, palm oil gained 0.7 per cent a tonne on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
