RTTN: Dollar Halts Recent Rally Ahead Of ISM Manufacturing, Construction Spending Data
(RTTNews) - The results of the manufacturing survey of the Institute for Supply Management are due out at 10:00 am ET. Economists expect the index to show a reading of 52 for October following a 1-point increase in the previous month to 51.6.
The Commerce Department's construction spending report to be released at 10 am ET is expected to show a 0.3 percent increase in September.
The US dollar paused previous session's uptrend versus major currencies ahead of the data. As of 9:55 am ET, the greenback was trading at 78.25 against the yen, 1.3655 against the euro, 1.5950 against the pound and 0.8928 against the Swiss franc.
