The pound dollar exchange rate is 0.274% lower with 1 GBP = 1.6021 USD.
The dollar yen exchange rate is 0.256% lower with 1 USD = 78.0900 JPY.
The FOMC decision is due today but, not for the first time in the last few months, the Fed can only command secondary attention as Athens remains the focus points for markets.
