NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- The euro climbed to a session high against the dollar in early Wednesday trading in New York, climbing above $1.38.
No specific headlines led to the latest climb higher in the euro, which has been rallying throughout the global session. Investors have been shedding the dollar throughout the day as investors await details from the Federal Reserve's latest meeting and Friday's key U.S. employment report.
The euro climbed to $1.3816, according to EBS via CQG. It traded at $1.3701 late Tuesday.
