ET:Euro hits session high v/s dollar on short squeeze
LONDON: The euro rose to a session high versus the dollar on Thursday as speculators bought back bearish positions initiated earlier and as Greek bank stocks reversed the day's losses.
The euro rose to a high of $1.37602 on EBS, reversing losses made earlier in the session to trade flat against the dollar. Traders said Asian central banks are likely to sell into the latest rally.
