Gasoline prices have fallen seven cents from a week ago in the Fort Worth-Arlington area, according to a report today by auto club AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Service.
The average local price for a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.18, down from $3.25 a week earlier.
The $3.18 price is a nickel below the Texas average of $3.23 and 23 cents below the U.S. norm of $3.41.
Nevetheless, the $3.18 local average is still 11 cents higher than a month ago and 51 cents higher than the $2.67 standard of a year ago.
