BLBG:New Zealand Dollar Rises as Retail Sales Climb Three Times More Than Seen
New Zealand’s dollar strengthened after a government report showed retail sales increased by 2.2 percent in the third quarter, adjusted for inflation, more than three times as much as economists had estimated.
The so-called kiwi rose to 79.13 U.S. cents as of 10:49 a.m. in Wellington, from 78.82 cents before the data.
