(AGI) Rome - The euro closes at a seven month low against the dollar, weighed down by Angela Merkel's opposition to eurobonds. At close of meetings with Italy's Monti and France's Sarkozy, the German chancellor also stressed her opposition to expanding the ECB's mandate. The common currency trades at 1.3328 against the US dollar, following session lows of 1.3315.
