(RTTNews) - During early trading on Thursday, the Japanese yen traded further higher against major currencies. The yen climbed to a new multi-month high of 57.06 against the NZ dollar, fresh multi-week highs of 102.71 against the euro, 119.42 versus the British pound and 73.52 against the Canadian dollar at around 9:40 am ET, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value of 57.24, 103.16, 120.05 and 73.75, respectively.
Currently, the yen is worth a 3-day high of 83.73 against the Swiss franc, 119.70 versus the sterling, 75.05 against the Aussie, 57.21 versus the NZ dollar, 102.85 against the euro and 73.70 versus the loonie.
