MB:Copper prices dip in LME pre-market as euro sinks below $1.33
Copper prices dropped in pre-market trading on the London Metal Exchange on Friday as the euro fell to a seven-week low against the dollar.
Copper traded at $7,175.75 per tonne at 10:25 GMT, down from an opening price of $7,265 per tonne, tracking the euro lower as it dropped below $1.33. “The euro is under a lot of pressure, it’s true. The $1.3315 level was a two-day support area and after it fell through that it looked very weak.
