KUWAIT, Nov 29 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil was up 76 cents on Monday to trade at USD 108.07 per barrel (pb), up from last Friday's USD 107.
31 pb, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Tuesday.
The hike of crude prices yesterday came amid continued tension in the Middle East region, and amid release of positive data on the world's biggest economy, that of the US, showing indications of a recovery on the short-run.
Crude prices are also supported by improved appetite for risk among investors who are buying assets of high yield. There was refrain from buying low yield assets, topped by the US greenback.
Crude prices are expected to continue gaining with the increase in demand for heating fuel with winter in the northern hemisphere.(end) mam.wsa KUNA 291243 Nov 11NNNN
