Mumbai, Nov 29 (PTI) Select copper, brass and zinc eased in a lacklustre trade at the non-ferrous metal market here today on modest stockist selling amid lower London Metal Exchange (LME) cues.
Meanwhile, tin, copper scrap heavy and copper sheet cutting gained on better offtake from alloy as well as consumer industries.
The industrial metal traded lower after posting its single-day gain following cautiousness after doubts over solid measures taken by euro-zone policymakers on regions debt crisis.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar both moved down by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 434 and 462 from Monday''s closing levels of Rs 437 and Rs 465.
Copper utensils scrap, brass sheet cutting and zinc softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 403, Rs 300 and Rs 125 respectively.
However, tin rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,325 from overnight closing level of Rs 1,320 and Copper sheet cutting firmed up by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 420 from Rs 417.
Copper scrap heavy also inched up a rupee to Rs 428.
