EG: U.S. dollar stays around 78-Yen level at beginning of holiday shopping season
TOKYO, Nov.29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar stayed around the 78 level against the Yen in Tokyo Tuesday after the rising cheerful beginning of the U.S. holiday shopping season.
The dollar traded at 77.92-93 yen against 77.95-78.05 yen in New York and 77.71-72 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Monday. It changed hands most frequently at 78.20 yen.
The euro fetched 1.3343-3344 dollar and 103.97-104.01 yen compared with 1.3315-3325 dollar and 103.79-89 yen in New York and 1.3295-3296 dollar and 103.32-36 yen in Tokyo late Monday afternoon.
