MSN:Copper remains weak on subdued industrial demand
New Delhi, Nov 30 (PTI) Copper extended yesterday''s losses and fell by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metal market today due to sluggish industrial demand amid weak trend overseas.
Other base metals including nickel settled at previous levels after moving in a tight range.
Traders said fall in industrial demand and reports of a weakening global trend mainly led to a decline in copper prices.
Meanwhile, copper for three months delivery fell 0.9 per cent to USD 7,420.75 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap remained weak and traded Rs 2 lower at Rs 378 per kg.

Zinc ingot 120-126.50, nickel plate (4x4) 1,050-1,052, gun metal scrap 226, bell metal scrap 228, copper mixed scrap 378, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 135, lead imported 133, aluminium ingots 120, sheet cutting 122, aluminium wire scrap 126 and aluminium utensils scrap 121.
