OAO Gazprom (GAZP) and Wintershall AG started natural gas and condensate production from a joint venture project in western Siberia, the International Oil Daily reported.
The Achimgas joint venture has commenced output at the Urengoi field, the Moscow-based company said last week, IOD reported today, without providing details about how the announcement was made. The project is designed to recover as much as 300 billion cubic meters of gas and 40 million metric tons of condensate over 43 years, according to the report.
