MSN:Select base metals eased on global cues, low demand
 
Mumbai, Dec 5 (PTI) Select metal eased at the non-ferrous metal market here on sustained stockist as well as industrial demand fuelled by lower London Metal Exchange (LME).
Meanwhile, Copper utensil scrap and Aluminium utensils moved up on better offtake from consumer industries.
The industrial metals steadied at the LME on cautiousness ahead of key summit in Europe from which investors expect bolder measures to stem the euro zone''s debt crisis.
Nickel fell by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,060 from last Saturday''s closing level of Rs 1,065 and brass utensil scrap also slipped by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 295 from Rs 299.
Copper wire bar moved down to Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 475 from Rs 478 previously.
Copper sheet cutting and brass sheet cutting both edged down to Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 426 and Rs 305.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper armature all softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 447, Rs 438 and Rs 432.
However, copper utensil scrap and aluminium utensil scrap both gained by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 411 and Rs 107.
