MW: Russia GDP +4.8% on year, unchanged from estimate

MOSCOW -(MarketWatch)- Russian gross domestic product grew by 4.8% in the third quarter of 2011, compared with the corresponding period last year, the Federal statistics Service said Monday.
Preliminary third-quarter data last month showed the economy growing by the same amount, which was slightly below the 5.1% forecast by the Economy Ministry.
Russia's economy is expected to expand 4.2% in 2011, the ministry said last month.
