New Delhi, Dec 15 (PTI) Copper futures prices fell by Rs 3.45 to Rs 398.25 per kg today, largely in line with a weak trend at the London Metal Exchange (LME).
Sluggish demand from consuming industries in the spot market also put pressure on copper futures prices here.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in April declined by Rs 3.45, or 0.86 per cent, to Rs 398.25 per kg, with a business turnover of 3,705 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in February lost Rs 3.35, or 0.84 per cent, to Rs 394.40 per kg, with a trade volume of 44,095 lots.
Analysts attributed copper prices at futures trade to a weakening trend at the LME.
Meanwhile, copper fell by 0.1 per cent to USD 7,201.50 a tonne at the LME.
