LONDON: The euro fell to a 10-month low versus sterling on Tuesday as worries that a long-lasting solution to the euro zone's debt crisis was out of reach and pushing investors away from the single currency in thin year-end trade.
The euro fell to 83.705 pence, its lowest since mid-February, to trade with losses of 0.2 per cent for the day.
