KN:Oil prices up in Asian markets
 
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- Singapore's Asian oil trading increased, on Wednesday, up to USD 98 per barrel (pb) after a report showed a great decline of the US crude oil supplies.
The crude for February increased to USD 0.80 cents pb, which came to USD 98.
04 per barrel in transactions with the New York Mercantile Exchange. While, London Brent delivery came to USD 106.98 pb, an up of USD 0.25 cents.
The American Petroleum Institute (API), said in its weekly report, that the crude oil supplies have risen to USD 4.6 million pb, however, there are expectations for a slip by USD 2.3 million pb.
API's report also indicated that the gasoline reservoir has dropped USD 2.8 million pb.
In NYMEX trading, natural gas went up USD 0.2 cents to come at USD 3.13 per 1,000 cubic feet. (end) asf.nfm KUNA 211100 Dec 11NNNN
