New Delhi, Dec 22 (PTI) Copper prices rose marginally by 0.03 per cent to Rs 398.35 per kg in futures trade today, buoyed by a firming trend on the London Metal Exchange (LME).
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February was up by 25 paise, or 0.03 per cent, at Rs 398.35 per kg, in a turnover of 2,987 lots.
Furthermore, the metal for delivery in far-month April up by similar margin to Rs 402.25 per kg, clocking a business volume of 232 lots.
Copper for three-month delivery gained 0.27 per cent to USD 7,475 in early trade on the LME.
